Teachers assess pupil’s attainment and progress on an on-going basis and record this in pupil’s workbooks in line with the School’s Assessment and Marking Policy.
At Hexham Priory we challenge all our pupils to achieve their best. This enables us to allow us to remain true to our school motto to “Never underestimate a child’s ability”.
At Hexham Priory we do not publish data due to the nature of the curriculum we offer and the size of our cohorts.
In additional to this all teachers set targets in pupil's Individual Education Plans (IEP) in areas of need from their Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP). These are monitored frequently and reviewed every term.
All progress information is shared one to one with parents and carers.
